Note: I wear Size 10.5 normally but the trick (I learned from Allen Edmonds, and they echo here) is to go "one size smaller and one size wider." I got size 9 (so yes that's 1.5 sizes smaller but they don't have 1/2 sizes). And it worked perfectly. I wear two pairs of wool socks with them but in upstate NY that means I wear them about 9 months out of the year. Can wear with one pair, not really loose.
