County: $35 Beaver Tail Bounty starting 11/08/21

REGIONAL—Starting Monday, Nov. 8, O’Brien County will be offering a bounty of $35 per tail for beavers taken during the 2021-22 trapping season.

Beavers will be accepted 8-11 a.m. Mondays at the Mill Creek Park Conservation Board Shop at 5660 460th St. in Paullina.

Trappers should follow these guidelines:

Beavers must be taken in O’Brien County between the dates of Nov. 2-April 15.
Trappers must have a valid Iowa Furbearer License.

The tails must be attached to beavers when presented for a bounty.
A bounty of $35 will be paid per tail until a maximum of $5,000 for the season has been paid.

Trappers must allow include a completed bounty form when they submit beavers. The form is available on the O’Brien County Conservation website.
