Make: Burdock Tea

1.) Picture collage above is mine. I made that last weekend. 2.) Find a good youtube video, I forget which one I used. Bottom line: You're using the roots here. Young spring roots have all the energy Back into the root after it left the plant in the fall which died. Dig the root, wash it, dry it (outside on tray or in oven on low). Once it's dry, put into a frying pan with nothing else (just dry). Then "dry roast" it on med-high for 10 minutes. Let cool, and use or chop up with coffee grinder and use. Now with coffee grinder, put in a bunch of rice first and grind that into a powder which will get rid of the coffee smell. You can make this any time a year. I've made great burdock tea in the fall. The picture above of course is from spring roots. Note: The rice isn't used in this recipe, just used for cleaning. Note: You have to give up wheat first, but then, this is a connection to all. It's a connection to God I believe for me.
