Prices as low as they can go

BUCYRUS — Two things are certain as far as the raw fur industry goes.

The first is the sportsmen who trap and night-hunt are going to continue what families have been doing for generations.

Secondly, the prices for raw fur are about as low as they can go — and won’t get any better until China gets a handle on its COVID problem, and Russia understands that trying to muscle neighbors is both a costly and losing proposition.
