A funeral service for Rick Duhn, 66, of Spirit Lake, was held Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Spirit Lake. Interment was at Superior Township Cemetery in rural Superior.

Rick Duhn was born Oct. 19, 1952, in Estherville, the son of Louie Herman and Abbie Louise (Christensen) Duhn. He was raised and educated in Spirit Lake, graduating from Spirit Lake High School.

Rick was united in marriage to Teresa Griese on April 25, 1987, in Spirit Lake. The couple made their home in Spirit Lake. Rick worked as a stone mason. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and trapping.

Rick passed away Thursday, March 14, at Lakes Regional Health Care in Spirit Lake at 66 years of age.

He is survived by his wife Teri; children, Justin (Kim) Duhn and Robin Duhn; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerry (Inez) Duhn, Roger (Marlene) Duhn, Bill (Bonnie) Duhn and Delmar Duhn; sisters, Carol (Ernie) Cupp and Connie Lenox.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Shane Duhn, and two great-grandchildren.

Turner Jenness Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
